You can generate many reports in CMS from this menu option.
You will find this particularly useful when no data entry is
needed and you avoid stepping through the menu tree to
generate a particular report. Instead you can generate many
reports from this central location. All report output can be
viewed on the screen, sent to the printer, or written out to
a file.
Here is a list of all reports you can generate from this
"Reports Definition Table".
- Family List. This report generates an alphabetical listing
of all families stored in the CMS system. It
lists both the family name and the mailing
name. For a more complete description of this
report option see chapter 3.51 "Family List".
- Family Mailing Labels. When you want to send letters or
statements, or if you want to send
a mass mailing to all the families
in CMS this choice lets you
generate the mailing labels for all
the families. For a more complete
description of this report option
see chapter 3.52
"Family Mailing Label". To
generate a mailing label for just
one family see chapter 3.63 "Print
a Mailing Label for One Family".
- Member List. This report generates an alphabetical listing
of all members stored in the CMS system. It
lists both the family name and the member's
last name. For a more complete description
of this report option see chapter 4.51
"Member List".

- Church Status Lists. This report generates alphabetical
listings of all members stored in the
CMS system according to their
membership status. It lists the
family name, last name, first name,
and the sub title. For a more
complete description of this report
option see chapter 4.52 "Church
Status List".
- Member Mailing Labels. When you want to send letters or
statements, or if you want to send
a mass mailing to all the members
in CMS this choice lets you
generate the mailing label for all
the members. For a more complete
description of this report option

for All Members". To generate a
mailing label for just one member
see chapter 4.63 "Print a Mailing
Label for One Member".
- All Member Profiles. This report option generates a
detailed information sheet for each
member of your Church. These report
sheets may be updated by hand and
then you may later update your CMS
system to reflect any changes or
additions. See sample report in
chapter 4.67 "Complete Profile Report
for One Member". For a more complete

- Organization List. Select this option to see a complete
list of all organizations. For a more
complete description of this report

- Rosters for all Organizations. After you select a date,
this option generates
rosters of all
organizations. All report
output can be viewed on the
screen, sent to the

- Rosters for all Classes. After you select a date, this
option generates rosters of all
classes. All report output can be

- Rosters for Selected Organizations. After you select a date
you select one or more
organizations, and
rosters of all selected
organizations will be
generated. All report

- Attendance Statistics. After you select a date and one or
more organizations, this option
generates attendance statistics for
all selected organizations. All
report output can be viewed on the
screen, sent to the printer, or
written out to a file. For a more

- Special Interest Group List. Here you get a complete
listing of all SIGs in CMS.

- Rolodex cards (3x5) for all families. Here you can print
3"x 5" Rolodex cards
for all families.

small Rolodex cards
for all members.

- Shepherd List. This report generates an alphabetical
listing of all shepherds stored in the CMS
system. For a more complete description of
this report option see chapter 5.541
"Shepherd List".
- Shepherd Mailing Labels. When you want to send letters or
statements, or if you want to
send a mass mailing to all the
shepherds in CMS this choice lets
you generate the mailing labels.

- Single Member Statement. This report generates a statement
for one member listing all pledges
and posted contributions made
during a specified time period.

- Church Directory. This report generates an alphabetical
listing of all the families and members
stored in the CMS system. It shows all
their addresses and telephone numbers,
and who their shepherd is. This report
can only be generated here.

To generate a Church Directory from the "Report Definitions
Table":
A. At the "Print Report" "Reports Definition Table" screen,
select "Church Directory".
B. Press <Enter> and a "Choices" menu will appear.
C. Make your selection and follow the instructions on the
screen to generate the report. See the Appendix, Chapter
10.2 "Generate Standard Reports in CMS" for more details.
D. When this report has been generated you will be returned
to the "Reports Definition Table".
To exit from the "Reports Definition Table" press <Esc>. You
will be returned to the "Main" menu.
